Custom character commissions

I’ve opened custom character commissions for a limited time! Before booking, please have a look at some of the existing character designs and see what features, fabric patterns or illustration styles resonate with you.

  • A4 digital download (pdf sent to your email address) $120

  • A4 print on premium 300gsm fine art paper & digital download $180

    • Add a second character for $100

    • Add an animal companion for $40

  • 15-17cm custom character tattoo appointment $550

HOW TO BOOK:

  • Create a prompt in 50 words or less (for each character) for me to create a custom illustration for you! You may also choose up to 3 designs from the grid below (screenshot and circle) which I will integrate into your design.

  • Photo references can be of yourself, your friends, family or pet. Please ensure that the person is clearly visible in the photo and in a pose that is similar to what you would like in the design! Please note that I cannot use photo references that aren’t owned by you or that you don’t have permission to use as this breaches copyright. If you don’t have a particular character reference in mind, let me know and I will sketch something for you based off of your description.

  • Decide whether you would like to add a second character or animal companion!

 FAQs + Terms and Conditions

    1. COPYRIGHT

    As the artist, copyright of any work that I create remains with me. Any physical or digital products which you purchase are yours and cannot be reproduced or sold commercially. This includes the digital PDF file which you will be sent.

    2. DESIGN

    When you commission work from me you are entrusting me to create an illustration in my personal style. The piece you receive will be my artistic interpretation of any prompts that you provided. When you commission work from me you are granting me complete artistic liberty and autonomy. I am only able to create work that is authentic to my personal style and expression. I will do my best to integrate any suggestions or feedback provided however cannot guarantee that I can incorporate all these things into the final piece.

    3. EDITS

    Before finalising your design I will send you a rough sketch. After receiving this, you will have 48hrs to email me back with any edits. Please note that these edits must be reasonable and should not be exceed an hours worth of additional work. Any edits are at my discretion

    4. SHIPPING & PRINT COLLECTION

    Prints can be collected for free from Artist Guild (Auchenflower, Meanjin) or shipped for a fee.

    5.USEAGE

    Please note that any commissioned work cannot be used for commercial purposes or shared online via public platforms without my permission. This excludes your personal instagram account where you are welcome to share the image (don’t forget to tag me!). You are prohibited from taking any commissioned work to another arts practitioner to reproduce it in any format (tattoo etc.) as this conflicts with my business.

    6. TIME-FRAME

    Please allow up to two weeks for me to send you a digital copy of the design. After we have agreed upon any edits, I will send you the final design within a fortnight and will ship the print within this time-frame. Please note that I cannot provide a time-frame for when the shipped print will arrive until I have a tracking number which I will provide to you.

    7. REFUNDS

    All commissioned work is strictly non-refundable.

    8. What you will receive

    You will receive a certificate of authenticity which will be shipped with your print. All prints will be printed on Canson Aquarelle Rag 310gsm or a similar alternative. I will also email you a digital, downloadable file (PDF) of your design.

    9.If you book an illustration that I am not confident in, or one that doesn’t meet these terms and conditions I have the right to decline the job and will refund you your payment.

  • Anything you like! This is your opportunity to provide me a prompt to design your illustration. I’ve attached an example below:

    • You must be the copyright owner of the image you provide

    • You must have permission for me to render the likeness of anyone other than yourself that you would like to include in the illustration

    • Please ensure that the figure is posed in the same position you would like them sketched in

    • Must be high-resolution and well-lit.
